Our initial aim is fairly simple; to build a new school building for Ituna Community School. This is happening on land allocated for the school by the city council.  Representatives of the charity have spent a long time talking to the school governing committee, teachers, pupils and the local council, as well as others about what the school needs to ensure its future. This is how we came to realise the importance of a new building to give the school a permanent and suitable home for the future, and have come to our designs for the school.

We plan to fund the school with money raised in the UK, from a mixture of schools work, business sponsorship, gifts and one off events. If you think you might be able to help, please donate, or contact us. We estimate we will need around £150,000, spread over a period of several years as the school is constructed in phases.

Following the completion of the school we would like to help the school develop a way of supporting itself so its future is secured indefinitely and we avoid creating a dependence. This may require further capital to set up, but we will investigate the best way to do this as we build the school.
