What is your job title? Headteacher What is your role at school? Teacher, mentor for untrained teachers in the community schools and management-administration, pupils accommodation, counselling and guidance. How long have you been working with Ituna Community School? I have been working for eight years. What do you enjoy about your role at school and working with the children? I enjoy teaching, interacting with the children from different backgrounds and experiences. Challenges in my community on family hardships and finding remedies to such problems. What difficulties do you find working at Ituna School? The current infrastructure, furniture, location of school, non availability of text books and apparatus for conducting lessons. How many times do you have a meal in a day? Twice, once at lunch and once in the evening. How do you hope the school will develop over the next years? I hope and look forward to the finishing of the school infrastructure and then to the development into a secondary school or high school with a reputation in its administration and staff. What would you like to see happen? In addition to the previous, I would like to see the school have extra rooms for a college, in which skills can be learnt for different life long skills after school, before going to higher institutions to lean a major skill.
