For the children at the Ituna Community School, the typical routine isn’t easy. Most children will come to school without uniform, books, pencils or having eaten any breakfast. Some children, when they finish school at 12.00 some children go to market to collect grain or work to earn food for their families evening meal. Their parents might be out of work; as a result, the children become the only major source of income within the family.
